I might be able to get my hands on a lightly used P228. How much would you pay for one with two mags? It is in great shape. Only thing I noticed is that the part of the front of the slide that sticks out of the frame seems kinda purple. Don't know why.

A good price is about $500. But less is better.

Make me the third guy to say $500 or less. Can you find a picture of a 228 in a similar condition? Do you think the bluing is showing wear from holster use?

I purchased a used Sig several years ago with a hard case and 2 mags for $400.00. I held it for almost 10 years before selling it. I shot it several times, and never could get a feel for it. I understand that Sig produces excellent pistols. However, My Dept. issued Glock 22's, and I never could get used to the height of the Sig.

I don't think it's holster wear. It's my grandfather who has the gun, so I could probably get it for real cheap. Maybe I can convince him that I'm awesome and he should give it to me. Lol
he says he hardly ever shot it. I'll see if I can get a picture of the discoloration.

I want a P228 bad! I'd trade my P239 or P226 West German model for one.

But then I got my Addax Gas piston AR. Sure I still have to keep a few small replacement parts, but I'll let you kick me in the balls for every malfunction I have with my Addax GPU, thats how reliable it is!

So far we are at, hold on, let me check..... ZERO!
