Gosh, this is hard. I really like taking macro photos, so here are a few I took. I only have a point and shoot camera though, so getting everything in good focus is a huge PITA. I really need a DSLR, but I have not gotten around to it yet.

These are two pictures from a walk my wife and I went on Summer 2007.






This leaf is from another walk up a mountain near our house.




And we drove to St. Louis last year for our anniversary, and had an amazing british breakfast at a tea store there.

Oleg is the photographer, its his image, and regardless of you adding text, the bigger question is if he gave you the ok to use his image..... and while Cara is certainly attractive, its not fair to either of them to use the work without permission.


Oleg is a professional photographer as well as doing adwork and design, and could certainly show damages from other persons using his images without permission.



Just a thought, copyright violation is a strange thing right now.

I was going to say it but everytime I bring it up I'm made to look like a stuck up a-hole.

Typical responses:

"Don't post images on the web if you don't want them taken"

I deleted every image and left another gun forum for this reason..

I've heard many excuses used by persons and manufacturers who have used my images without permission, sometimes for commercial use.

Hopefully I didn't come across as a stuck up a-hole, but whether I did or didn't, where is a better place than a photography forum to bring this issue up?


This probably deserves its own thread..... so I started a new one.

I agree Stick, yes it can be interpreted either way. Not sitting in a room talking face-to-face and getting body language/feedback, the lost communication we're missing.
