Not sure if I would consider this my "Best of Best" but it is one of my favorites. Are there posts missing from the photo section today? Merry Christmas everyone!

Here are some of my favorites I found real quick (I need a better filing system). My coolest sunset My coolest from a fire scene A couple from the track. The first one is cool because carter lumber was sponsoring the race, their name is on the wall and the car pictured is sponsored by them...kinda neat.

appears everything is back! Now.... if it would just quit snowing! It is unbelievable here. My rain gutters were torn off the house over the last three days. I have piles around my house between 6 and 7 feet high. If it doesn't stop soon, I am afraid that my roof might collapse. I spent 6 hours yesterday shoveling snow off of it and it's still got way too much on it. My life for the last week has consisted of shoveling and with a little plumbing repair thrown in for good measure.

I've got a picture that I shot at 1600 ISO that is going into a catalog for a client, its stunning when you think of what 1600 ISO looked like 5 or 10 years ago. I'm interested to see how it prints next to everything else which I shot at 100 or 200 ISO.

The new DSLR's have really improved on noise issues. I remember when ISO800 was unusable. I have found that with the newer Canon cameras, as long as you don't underexpose, ISO1600 works fine for most things. Certainly not as clean as the lower ISO's but definitely usable. I haven't shot any of the new Nikons but hear they are great too.

My wife and I so badly want an SLR and PS, just not in the cards. I haven't taken good quality photos since HS Photo class, all in BW and we did all our own developing in a darkroom (which is a thing of the past). I'm not good and this is taken with a point and clic 6MP camera, edited with Photobuckets' free software.

Always liked the Spanish Peaks near Walsenberg, Colorado. The pic does not capture the beauty, although I tried.
