Ok Just yesterday I picked up my 1006. I carried it all day today in a Bianchi S3 Pocket pistol. ITs was not as bad as I thought. The holster was an easy on and off situation. But now I was thinking of trying a sholder rig. I see them ALOT in films and TV (Miami Vice) But I wanted some opinions and some people who have used them. DO you like them or are they a pain. I want to get one for the 1006. I was looking at Galco Classic Light. I was also looking at the Safari Land rigs. What are your opinions

Unless you are going topend most of your time driving around and are worried about getting car jacked stay away from shoulder rigs. Flaggin 180 degrees, including your own arm, is not how you want to start your draw.

Interestig concept how about IWB or OWB whis is a better bet/

I would say it depends on your dress code and how much you want to spend on a holster. I dont have a IWB holster but I have been told to get a comfy one it will cost a little more. I currently carry OWB with a Galco

I carry with a shoulder rig. I also have a 1991-vintage 3" barreled Charter Arms Bulldog in .44 S&W Special that I carry regularly. Since I routinely wear sportcoats, it works very well. Rampy: Couldn't you have been a bit more original?

I carried my Delta Elite in a shoulder rig almost 2 decades ago. It was a vertical rig, not horizontal.

They can work well under a sportcoat, if you never need to take the coat off. As soon as you do, then you have issues.

I prefer a good tuckable IWB. I carry my full size witness in that fashion today. Even with my shirt tucked, but bloused a little, my wife has to hug me to be sure if I am carrying.

Don't really like shoulder rigs, very uncomfortable to me.

I always wanted a shoulder holster and got a Bianchi Scorpio before I could actually carry a gun legally. As soon as I actually started carrying, I realized how impractical anything but strong side belt holsters are.
