I am looking to get a shotgun and want some opinions.

I have searched the world over and found no bad press on the Winchester Super x2 or x3. So, I am leaning toword this gun. The only problem is I don't really want to spend $800 to $1500 on a shotgun, if I can even find one.

That being said, what shotgun would you guys suggest.

Requirements.
Automatic preferable but not a must
I would dove hunt 2 or 3 times a year
I would shoot clay about once a month
$0 to $700 price range

Thanks for the help in advance.

Like G said, you can find a lot of nice 1100's for that price range. I did find this 11-87 that has a $590 starting bid with no bids so far.

I use a Mossberg pump 12ga for most of my needs. I have a few of them and none have ever broke or failed to go boom when the trigger is pulled.
I also like the Remmy 870 series as well.

I picked up a Charles daly a few yaers back nice little auto the only issue I had with it was that it was very light and birdshot out of the 12 ga kicked like a mule.... I changed the buttpad and it is sweet now.... uses the same chokes as rem....
