Hmm...
Looks like former vice presidential canidate and former Alaskan governor is coming to my area for a book signing.....
She hasn't been my most favorite person since she resigned from the Alaskan Governor position, but maybe I will go anyway to see if I can catch a glimpse of her,

The waits have been long, for her two hour book signing appearances. I wouldn't wait more than 1/2 hour to see her. I wouldn't wait more than 1/2 hour to see anyone, though.

Knowing people in this area, they will be camped out in anticipation of her arrival, days in advance. Palin is very popular here. (with most people, she is knd of on my "shat" list right now) It would be neat to get her autograph though, might make a good Christmas present for a raging Palin supporter I know.

Honestly I'll look at another mans wife but that's all. I listened to the opinions from both side I guess some young ladies in GR (Grand Rapids Mi) waited over 29 hours to be first in line. As far as her resigning the legal battles over out and out lies and the blogger's who were just making up any crap plus personal attacks. Hey if it were Barry, Hillary or any of that group of lieing, thieving, and plundering A$$ holes the Main stream media would be throwing up more walls than the Corps of Engineers.

QUOTE (pzkwV424 @ November 19th 2009 8:01 PM) Honestly I'll look at another mans wife but that's all. Comparitively speaking, I like her. Legal battles and slander or not, she abandoned her position. She was elected by the good people of Alaska, and she rolled over and called it quits. She had an obligation to them, and to the rest of the nation since she had been in the national elections, and she gave up. I'm tired of hearing "she quit because it was costing taxpayers too much to defend against law suits" That is a lame excuse, Alaskan taxpayers voted her into office, everytime a conservative governor comes under attack, they can't simply withdrawl. She denied Alaskans their vote. I am extremely bitter that someone with ambitions in the executive branch just quits. I had high hopes for her, and even if it did cost the taxpayers out the ass, then by God she should have stuck with it, out of mere principle. If taxpayer dollars are going to be used, then I do not see a more noble cause than defense from slandering morons in the media. Quiting made her look weak to our opponents, and to me as well. She betrayed us, all of us, and sugar coated it with some reasoning that people on our side soak up. It's a crock, and if you ask me, it has made her unelectable in any national office. Putting any stock in her politically, from here on out, is an error. She had her chance, and she caved, and I will never forgive her for it. I had much hope for her, and she dashed it all. I would vote for her in National Elections, but she wouldn't be my first pick, even though she has a great platform, she abandoned the people. If I was Alaskan, I would be even more pissed at her. Rick Perry comes under attack, even from with in the party, but if he were to roll over, I would forever scorn his name. Thank God Palin isn't governor of Texas. rant over... she should stick to political commentary and campainging for people other than her self. But I do like her, just not as a politician.

Imho, if Palin becomes the GOP Prez candidate for 2012, we're in for another 4 long years. She's just another empty suit.

Had she held her position as governor, I might have disagreed with you. She is unelectable. The heart of the GOP still loves her, but the swing voters and masses in general look at her as the moronic Tina Fey charectar that she helped reinforce when she resigned. I really liked her, that is why I am so irritated with her descision to resign. Political suicide.

I dont think she will be the canidate for the GOP. Maybe for the Teaparty but even if she is not a canidate who she endorses will bring some leverage behind it.

I agree, Poor Man. Quitting killed her. She doesn't finish what she starts. If she thought it was tough to be governor, how in the world could she be President?
Wheter she could or couldn't, the point is she quit. It got a little rough and she walked out on the people that hired her. didn't even complete one term. No excuse for that.

Quiting didn't just kill her, it devastated me and millions of others. When I voted for her for VP, I was serious about it. She didn't win, but still, I confided in her to take care of the country. I supported her through thick and then, sent campaign contributions..... Then she goes and does that? err.... Like I said, I do like her, but I would have to be left with some really crummy choices in order to ever vote for her again.
