Does anyone here know where I can find mags for the S&W 1006. I have found a good deal on a nice 1006 but it only has 1 mag. I have looked at several different sights but not much luck. I am a little worried about buying this gun if I can't find mags because I want to shoot it. I found some on GunBroker but they were really expensive. Any help will be appreciated.

Yes the magazines are demanding a premium price, its a damn shame that some are blaten rip off priced. My advise to you would be to get on MidwayUSA's backorder list and wait. Be sure to get extra springs, bottoms and followers to have on hand. I am using the Wolff 22 lb recoil spring with my S&W1006, this has kept the brass from flying 25+ feet away. Just be aware the extra power spring does add more difficulty to rack the slide.

Good luck!

Thanks I put the gun on layaway today I couldn't stand it any longer I have wanted one for years. I lucked up the gun store owner had 2 new in the pack mags he let me have for $30 each. Were do you buy the springs and bottoms you mentioned. I have a Glock 20 also and I buy my stuff for it from TopGlock. I am going to have to change my recoil spring on my Glock also. It is slinging brass 20+feet. Thanks for the help.
