I recently went through the dilemma of choosing a flashlight for my rifle...
It was started after playing Left 4 Dead, and I realized in a zombie invasion, I would NEED a light on my M1a, the process was arduous but I feel I have made a good decision. I ended up getting a LED Lenser T7 for a number of reasons. I wanted bright, long battery life, and a non-lithium battery. In an actual zombie outbreak I just feel AAA's would be easier to find.

It was slightly larger than 1", 1.1" I think was the exact diameter. I affixed it to the bottom rail with a 30mm scope mount, worked like a champ. The battery life is supposed to be upwards of 100 hours, so as I test that I'll let you know. It is super bright, and focusable, which is pretty neat.

Has anyone else used these flashlights?

I'm in the market for a new light myself. Let me know how your setup works out....especially on those pesky zombies smile.gif
