*UPDATE 11/2* I recieved these on 10/29 but just got around to posting the arrival of my new torches. I bought three, they come assembled ready for CR123's with the body extension for 2-AA's. Glow In The dark clickie cap and then a Cree bezel shot. I was in a hurry so didn't get great pics of the knurling, whick is good for the money. I really love these inexpensive, bright lights .. ******************************************************************************** ******************I own 2 of these flashlights and I am stunned with the quality of build, brightness with just the right amount of spill. I use the Sanyo Eneloops primarily in all my flashlights with great results. I would do a review but I couldn't top the ones over at Candlepower forums by Ernsanada. I just ordered another 3 for stocking stuffers !

It's just over 17 bucks here with free shipping . The light comes with two bodies, one for a single CR123 and a slightly longer one for two AA's. If you use quality rechargable batt's you cannot go wrong with this light. I use one for my hunting flashlight. I have more expensive lights but usually grab the Romisen, if I drop it or lose it it won't hurt so bad .

Those are nice, I may have to order one or two up! Know what the tube dimensions are? Will it work with any weapon light mounts?? Be great to slap this on the AR!!

If it's cool... its probably banned in NY.... QUOTE (captainbarred @ July 24th 2009 8:27 PM) But then I got my Addax Gas piston AR. Sure I still have to keep a few small replacement parts, but I'll let you kick me in the balls for every malfunction I have with my Addax GPU, thats how reliable it is!
So far we are at, hold on, let me check..... ZERO!

Dangit, I'm always up for another good, cheap flashlight. I thought my last find at Kmart was pretty good, an LED light that runs on 3-AAA's, with an 85 lumen output. 8-10 hours per set, it's a hell of a lot cheaper than the CR123A's.

What did these run ya with shipping? I really need a light to carry with my CCW rig and don't want to overpay for a name brand light that my son may end up hiding.

It's just over 17 bucks here with free shipping . I have Surefires, Fenix's, Pentagon's and they are all superb lights. But this light for 17 bux is an absolute must-have for an everyday light that won't break the bank. Buy three for 50 clams and there's one for each of you .. I use the Sony Eneloop rechargable batts in all my torches. I was always hesitent using lights because of the cost of good batt's but after I took the rechargable plunge we all use them often.

What are Sony Eneloop rechargeable batts & where do ya get em???
Are these good lights for a teenage daughter to put in her purse & be banged/battered around & abused, or should I get a Sure Fire light for that?

Are these good lights for a teenage daughter to put in her purse & be banged/battered around & abused, or should I get a Sure Fire light for that? The Sony Eneloops are the shiznit over at CPF. Thet's where I read about them, they are not as high a mAh as other batteries but hold their charge excellent. They are 2000mAh for the AA's. I buy the Costco bundle, it has 8-AA, 4AAA, C & D battery adapters that work with the AA's and a four place smart charger for around 28 clams. I haven't really given one of the Romisen's a torture test but the kids run around with them all weekend when were at the cabin.. I think one would be great for a purse, and won't hurs so bad if it get's lost.. Shoot me your address brother, I'll send one to you to check out for a while . Just don't do any extrere torture tests on my torch .
