I think what we need is 2 fold.
We need a place.
We need someone close to that place that can coordinate such an event.
I'm all about making it happen, I just don't have the place,or the ability to make it happen.

The only places I know are in Erie. There is a state range that lets you reserve it for a day. Other than that I don't know of any places. I'll check on the PAGC site for other ranges though.....

There's a nice free public range in Wexford, northeast of Pittsburgh - easily accessible to I-79, too! really.gif

Wexford? I just got home from Wexford. Hauled a load of mail to the main post office downtown then back up to Cranberry and droped the priority mail at the L&DC. Then back to Bradford. Been doing it for 9 years. Its about 165 miles from Bradford. Good luck on your shoot!

I've been there twice & it is nice, but no heavy shooting.

If you have time stop at the Stone Pepper Grill on 228! It's behind DQ!

We do need to do this & get the Ohio boy's {& girl} involved! Kenny lives closer to you Jay than I do! I think we need to start by finding a place that 1}We all can get off to go. 2} Be able to shoot at least 250 yds. 3} Be reasonably affordable for all involved!
4} At least 10 people should come!
Anything else?

well I have access to my gun clubs 25yard pistol range and 50/100yrd rifle range. or I can reserve the state game lands range that has 25/50/100/200/300 yrd ranges its located out side of jim thorpe pa. people let me know what is what and I will try to get one started for the late spring early summer. there is tons of camping grounds up here and a great gun shop that is really close to the range too. I have 3 shooters that are a Def. from my own group. give me a time frame people and I will make it happen!!!!!!!
