Hey All,

Been looking around for quite awhile but it seems I can't find an answer to my questions anywhere (on the entire internet).

Does any know what the interchangeabilty of sights on Para-Ordnance P series guns are?

I own a Para-Ordnance P16-40, converted to 10mm, and I can't for the life of me, find a place that sells night sights for it. Trijicons website says P10, 12, 13 and 14s are available but nothing on P16s. They referance a site for a company called Tooltech that does offer night sights for all Para Ordnance guns but the price is ridiculous compared to what Trijicon offers for other (similar) 1911 sights.

If it turns out this is my only option I may just have to go with Tooltech but I would hate to spend more than I have to. Any help would be great.

Thanks,
Strychnine

What kind of sights are you looking for? Mine came stock with a very nice Bo-Mar setup. I would think that sights to fit a Bo-Mar cut would be somewhat easy to find. I'm thinking of tackling this soon too as I'm not crazy about Bo-Mars. They are nice enough sights, being adjustable and all with an excellent sight picture, but I would prefer a fixed Novak style or maybe even the original GI type.

I'm not really picky about style because I shoot just fine with all manner of sights. I am definetly partial to fixed sights, though.

Novaks are nice because of good sight picture for fast(er) shooting. I need a staked front sight as I am really not willing to get my slide milled for a dovetail sight. However, in the end that would make finding sights so much easier since I can find all sorts of dovetailed front sights. I'd be happy with a rear sight like this.

Thanks for the quick reply. You guys are great.
