The OLD guy optic (for those of us with astigmatism sad.gif )... Trijicon RX30.

LOVED the EOTech 557 it USED to have, but I just couldn;t pick up all the BDC dots anymore. That, and 200 meters is a RIDICULOUSLY long shot in MY 'hood - I'm set for CQB now.

When I was in school, there was no difficulty in establishing a link between the Stanford football team, the Stanford band, and the Stanford faculty. They were all "sons of the Stanford red." All these Moors are card-carrying Moors."

EoTech 557 with 4X-FTS. As I stated in another thread, the 4X magnifier is not worth the extra money. Stick with EoTech 3X.

Thanks, Dan.
Man, it's like asking me which one of my children is my favorite. laugh.gif
Tough one, but, with that said, I do really like the doughnut reticle of the TA11. The model 11 (3.5x35) in general is my favorite. It has bigger glass than even the TA31 and TA01 models, giving you more light and clarity, not that the others are chopped liver.
But, really, choosing your children, it's impossible, man. wink.gif

ETA: the TA11 has a better (longer) eye relief than the 4X models, and only gives up half a magnification.

That's good to hear, I was thinking about a TA11 or a TA31, your opinion pushes me a little to the 11. bigsmile.gif

The IOR 3x25 cqb is great. Glass is crystal clear. I like their etched cqb reticle. The illumination is quite bright, even at lowest setting. Battery life is pretty short, which is really not a big problem, unless it goes kaput on you in low light situation. For its small size, the thing is pretty hefty, adding 1 pound to the whole package. It looks tough, feels tough, but I haven't abused it, yet, so can't tell you anything more than that.
