Medpilot, good to see you man!!
I was gonna pm you and tell you to get your butt over here :D
Recoil, I just got my once fired from Roze Dist. and most of it was nickle and $57 for 1k... Good stuff by the looks of it although I did see a lot FC headstamps as I threw into the cleaner...
Just seperated my first batch thru the tumbler, which is about 700 rounds, 500 nickle case R-P headstamp (? anybody know this one) 150 FC brass cases and 40 winchesters in brass. Overall I am very happy with what I got.

This is where all the cool guys hang out! :D
So being Remington is good right??? Nickle is a little softer than brass right?
The FC headstamps are what my local commercial guy uses and he tells me they are ok as long as I dont get crazy with the powder charge so i will save those for IDPA loads. How hot can I go with the Remmy's, book max??
Btw Dustin got my Power pistol (8lbs) and a 2 of the 8oz 800X's on the way. That should hold me for a little while B-)

My only experience with 10mm brass has been with Starline. I would imagine that your Remington brass is just as good as any other brand out there.

I only stick with one brand of brass for consistency sake. I guess I'm just anal that way. :lol2:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think your FC head stamp brass is Fiocchi. Again, I have no experience with it, but it should be fine.

Mike, are you using an aftermarket barrel? I'm loving my KKM, I've loaded up the same brass over 20 times with hot loads and it's still going strong. I contribute that to not having the brass get "Glocked" after each firing. :D

"FC" has always been Federal brass that I've known.

Did Fiocchi ever make 10mm?

You maybe right. I don't know if Fiocchi ever made 10mm either.

I have a box of Fiocchi 40S&W with a FC head stamp on them. That's were I was getting that from.

Hey guys stopping back from my hurricane prep :/
Not sure who makes the FC stamp, again I have been told its **** for hot loads but fine for normal range, plinking type IDPA loads. You know the ones where the lead falls out the end of the barrel?? :D Oh sorry thats the old guys with the 1911's
Dustin, Yeah bro still making glock smiles with the OEM barrel
I was supposed to start a new job this week but the damn hurricane has put it off. That is my next purchase (2 KKM's) though as soon as I pay for all the powder I ordered B-)
Then a chrono :D

I HATE Remington brass. The mouths are thinner and don't hold a crimp as well. Every round I've ever gotten bullet set-back in has been in Remington brass until I started throwing it out on sight.

Nickle plated brass is typically harder than standard brass and may not last for as many reloadings. I've had the plating wear off before ever seeing any issues with it though.

My vote is for any brass but Amerc (do they even do 10mm? I hope not) and Remington. I've had particularly good luck with Federal ( FC headstamp ) and Starline.

Mike, you'll love the KKM barrel. I have loaded up some really hot loads without any pressure signs on the case. I know, I'm probably just asking for trouble.

I lucked out with the shooting range I go to. They have an in-house chrono that anyone can use. I don't know how I got along without one. :)

damnit man, I am so jealous, a range with a chrono.... I miss Texas :/
Yeah I was thinking a 6 inch for the 20 and stock length for the 29. That 6 inch with 135gr noslers and 800X will be sooooo much fun to chrono :nanner: :gunz:
