Remember, the Founding Fathers reason for the 2nd Amendment... to combat tyranny. Sadly, when people discuss the 2nd Amendment, the opponents erroneously think it was meant to stand alone... it HAS a preamble:

"...But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security..."

Okay now I am ticked!
Just recieved my other SBR stamp back and it was approved but the examiner Sandra Snook wrote a note saying approved but I cant use the engraving S Boyer RLT Baxley GA on the reciever that I wrote in line 4h. My other SBR stamp approved by Sara Jones approved the other stamp tax and said that that same abbreviation was fine! Its total BS as both recievers have been engraved already and I was told numerous times that set of markings was fine on my other SBR forms and by another examiner on the phone and even a fourth in an email.
Just for the record miss Snook was the lazy examiner that I mentioned in previous post that was suppossed to do both my forms and was assigned both of them according to two checkups I did with the ATF on the status of my forms but she only ended up working on the newest form and wrote that BS note. So three examiners said abbreviating my first name is fine and one said its not, these guys need to get their acts together.

EDIT just called the ATF again and asked about the abbreviation, didnt mention I already had several forms back from them. once again I was told it is fine by another agent. So then I told him I already had some approved SBR stamps and about the note on my newest form and he then said well it is fine but if that is what she noted on the form then it isnt fine... WTF. How do they expect people to follow the rules when they change them at will, also I know several guys who have full legal SBRs that have similar engraving approved, we have been told you can abbreviate the State, abbreviate your first name only so long as your last name isnt common ie Smith, and can use the abbreviations LLC RLT and LT.
Well now I am out 200 bucks for a stamp 40 for engraving and more if you count trying to get the lower re-engraved and re-painted as I just had a custom paint job done to that lower, so in all about 350 bucks not counting the cost of shipping and the reciever.
