Hi guys,

I've been hunting my whole adult life - always rifle. My next big adventure will be blackpowder. I'm waiting for the post-Christmas sales to try and pick up a smokepole on the cheap.

Great forum here!

I'll be buying (or maybe kit build) a Pennsylvania or Hawken flintlock. It's something I've always wanted to do since watching re-enactors during the Bicentennial when I was a little kid. My Dad had a flintlock that he got rid of years ago - still ticks me off.

my brother in law's dad used to build muzzle loaders. some of them were kits, but he actually made the stocks for some of them. it would be an item worth much pride, especially to build one yourself and then harvest a deer with it.

Howdy from Alaska! If it burns powder I like it. New to the AR platform, if ya don't count Vietnam. I too want a Botech Black Diamond. Have not tried a bow since I sold the old Fred Bear 60# re-curve 20 years ago.
I shoot registered Sporting Clays, considering 3 gun and IDPA. Don't know much about either of the latter two. Do they have an "Old Man" version? LOL. No drop n rolls for me.
I don't know about using my old Stevens 520, so I may have to get another 870 M&P or Benelli M-2/M-4.
I hunt Moose, Caribou (no luck), black bear, and Ruffed Grouse w/German Short hairs when I can get the old butt moving.
I like to fish for trout and Silver Salmon with a rod and reel, ride Indian motorcycles, and generally talk to damn much. (Must be making up for when I was younger)
I am a Vietnam Vet, U.S. Army, NRA Life Member, and probably a bunch of other stuff that don't matter.
I have enjoyed reading some of the posts and even opened my yap already. I have signed the petition on another sight and written to all of my representatives, and the folks who control the committee for HR1022.
Now where do we start seperatin San Francisco from the US???
Keep er in the Wind.

Bowhunt - Hoyt Vectrix

Rifle - Remington 700 BDL DM .270

Muzzle Load - Optima Pro Magnum

I live to hunt and hunt to live. Nothing compairs to sitting in the woods.

Central Minnesota is where i live and hunt and I just planned my first bow hunt for Colorado Elk this Sept.

I have not figured out this computer thing yet, but as soon as i do i will get some posted for you.

Some are pretty graphic and I am not sure it they would get mad if i posted them or not.

I had a couple of neck shots and some nice does last year with my bow and my Montec's did a great job.
