This really is a great site. I'm a new AR15 Armory member and new DPMS .308 AP4 owner...I should have bought an AR along time ago!
I am glad I found this site and look forward to learning from you all and hopefully contribute when I can. I am also looking forward to building my own 5.56 AR when I get back to the US. So hopefully I will be able to get my 10 posts in before I leave Iraq and be able to start searching for advice. Already got some great tips about the Larue Po'Boy magnifier compared to the others out on the market...thanks for the info. I know where I'm going to be spending my internet quality time.

I have been lurking around the site as a guest for a while off google searches. This site comes up a great deal when looking for information so I finally made the effort to register and I am very glad I did.

Well looks like a nice place. Lots of like minded people who like things that go boom!
At last. Earlier I saw what rifles or pistols.
M-1, M-14, AK-47, and a Rem 700 cal. .270 Win. Under construction is a AR-15 I'm thinking 6.8 SPC or 7.62x39 w/ a 5.56 upper for those rainy days. Also as I posted some where else that I'm also building a 6.5 Creedmoor on a DPMS Lr. Pistols I have.
