2K2 F350, 7.3L Powerstroke diesel, 4x4, manual everything, 3.73's, 285/75R16 tires--in town I'm around 17-18 mpg and on the highway I'm pretty consistently @ 21-22 mpg as long as I don't go faster than 65 mph.

1994 Grand Am all but worn out with around 180 thousand kilometers on the odometer (it's a Canadian car) gets around 24mpg in town and when we took it on the highway a tad over 30 going under 70mph. 1997 F250 4x4 5sp Powerstroke with 4.10 gears & BFG AT/KO 295's about 12-14 in town and on the highway at 55mph we actually broke 20mpg a couple times 2008 Honda Odyssey mini van with almost 3k miles on & possibly almost 3 months old (Like I remember when we got it, but we just got it) got 22mpg running into a headwind on the interstate at 80mph+ and when on 2 lane roads in the mountains and flats going up to 70mph it got 27-28mpg.

QUOTE (TomJefferson @ April 29th 2008 8:01 PM) TW200 bike 75mg VN900 bike 46mpg Dodge Caliber 1.8L 5 spd std 28/33mpg 99 Mustang 4.6L modified 5spd std 20/25 mpg Dodge 2500 6.7L Cummins Diesel 6spd Std 18 nominal and 20 mpg on the highway (so far what I have hauled and towed doesn't make a difference. It should when I throw the 7,000lb boat back there.)
If you haven't noticed, I've given up on automatics. A little shifting is worth the extra fuel mileage and cost of replacing automatics. We're simply not going to be the only nation in the world with cheap fuel anymore and we need to change our ways.

03 Harley Ford F-150 with a few extras,12mpg premium fuel only 03 Ford Expedition, stock, 13 mpg, regular fuel 03 Jeep Wrangler, stock, 16 mpg, regular fuel 01 Harley Davidson Wideglide, with a few extras, 19 mpg, premium fuel or better 02 Harley Davidson Electraglide, with a few extras, 36 mpg, premium fuel only
Yeah, the mileage sucks on all of them and when gas was $ 4.00 gallon it really sucks. Going to sell the Harley F-150 and maybe get a 2009 double cab taco, though I know the mpg is not much better but it has a larger fuel tank, 21 gallons so I won't have to fill up more than twice a week.
I'm sure that our new prez and his posse will keep the price of fuel down along with all of the other commodities that we have to have to live. Speaking of the regime change, hope everyone has stocked up on ammo and other essentials before the government outlaws or taxes it out of existence. Good luck on trying for any gov assisted loans that you might need.
