I really like how you resolved that whole 6.5 Grendel vs. 6.8 SPC: get one of each! Very good! So any comments as one who owns both? Any preferences? I don't have either, but have considered each. If you could only have one.....?

Thanks, that was my very first AR and all of my AR's sport a Hogue Grip. They work very well for me, but am looking forward to trying one of the Magpul's one day.

Here is the DPMS 308 I recently picked up.

This is the pic I saw when it was listed for sale.

Now, not even two weeks later....with a Harris bi pod and a Leupold Vari-X III.

I also have a 4 rail on order from DPMS and a Magpul PRS that UPS says will be here Friday.

Newest non 5.56 AR is a suppressed 50 Beowulf. Here is a (poor) picture. More to follow as this gets done. Next is possibly a different handguard and a optical sight.

Just for comparison sake -- a 50 Beowulf 500 grain along side a 44 Magnum 240 grain. (The loaded 50 Beo round is has a 335 grain slug.)
