I should be able to get my hands on a Sig P228 soon, and I want to get a good IWB holster for it. Preferable something leather, and with some cushion on the back would be nice. Ive seen some before with snaps on the belt loops, this would be what I want, because I will take it off and put it back on a good bit. I can spend around $80, but will spend more if I see something I really like. This will be my CC rig, so I dont want to get a cheap ass crappy holster.

Another thing I need to get is a good belt. I have an old Fossil belt I wear all the time. Had it for like 8 years, and its pretty strong, like 1 1/4 wide. Should I get another belt? Any recommendations?

Whats the difference between a high or low rise sweat back? Im guessing thats the padding on the back.

Keeps you from getting poked by the gun. I went with the high rise because of the beaver tail safety on my 1911.

Ahh, Ill probably go with the low then. The Sig doesnt have much sticking off it.

Go with the high. You'd be surprised how much that little bump on the Sig backstrap can be pokey.

Remember, anything on the gun that can poke you....WILL when you carry IWB.

Sweatguards help prevent that.
