I am looking for a small handgun vault. I just want to lock up one or two small handguns.

The idea is that I'll leavea gun or two at my brother's house in VT so when I visit him I can have acess to some guns. He has two small children, and I expect his wife will object to this idea. (I could be wrong-he father is a hunter and she is no stranger to firearms. I think the toddler thing is the issue.)I think the safe idea will work though.

Do any of you have actual experience with any of the small handgun safes out there?

Yep. Gun Vault.
I have the smaller deluxe model.
Holds my HK-USP with mounted TLR-2 laser light with an extra mag and a Surefire.

Comes with a cable to attach to a bedframe or put an eyebolt in the floor/wall and you're good to go.

Here 'ya go:

Gun Vault

Gun Vault- Midway

Wally World has a cheap knock-off that you might want to take a look at.

The NRA has a point about the inadvisability of simply taking guns away from the populace. If that were possible, it would not disarm that small percentage of the population willing to break the law.... Punishing people who obey the law is backward thinking.Hugh Downs, Veteran ABC newsman

I have three different "Electronic pistol safes" and the gun vualt is by far my favorite.

The others are cheaply made,

Okay, I'm looking at the small gun vault. The best price I've found is $98.99 at Midway. Anyone have other places that are cheaper?

But then I got my Addax Gas piston AR. Sure I still have to keep a few small replacement parts, but I'll let you kick me in the balls for every malfunction I have with my Addax GPU, thats how reliable it is!

So far we are at, hold on, let me check..... ZERO!

I ordered the large one from Wholesale Hunter, for $100. Best price I found anywhere.
