It does not take long for Arizona to send you your card.

Congrats.

That's what I heard. I took the class on Saturday and I dropped off the payment/paperwork on Monday since that office is close to home. After 5 yrs of saying, "I'll get my CCW this summer", I finally got up and went. Obama's election win helped.
Thanks.

I recently renewed my Texas CHL for the 2nd time and had the pleasure of having my sons alonf for their first CHL. It sont get much better for a Dad than to share such a special time with his sons!!!

My renewal took 90 days to arrive and my sons recently sent in their packages so they will get theirs soon as well. My wife is planning to go for hers in April.

That would be nice if they offered that in Arizona. I have had my permit for about 14 years. At first it was a four year permit. Now it is five years.

I wish Ohio would come out with a lifetime license. Of course they wouldn't do that. To much money to be missed out on that way.

Hey at least you guys can get a resident permit. I'm in one of the two states in the union that won't even let me apply for one. That didn't stop me from taking the UT class though. Hoping to get that back in six weeks.

I guess I didn't know just how fortunate I really am down here in Bama. We have to renew every year, but it's easy as can be. You can renew by mail or walk into the Sheriff's office, lay down a $20 bill and walk out 15 minutes later with your license. They run their checks and print up your card right there in the spot.

It would be nice to not have to do that every year though.
