I call Cabelas today to find out where my components are and they tell me they were delivered last Tuesday to my side door because nobody was home. I do not have a side door and explained this to them so they processed another order for me at no charge and said they would call me back with the order number. In the meantime I walked to my ex-neighbors home that is vacant and for sale, sure enough my stuff is sitting on his side deck, rain soaked but no damage (no powder or primers).
Just then Cabelas called with the order number and I explained the above and told them thanks but I'm all set.
If it wasn't for my parents teachings I could have had a two for one special.
Thank You Mom and Dad.
I love you

May feel better to get two. But you sleep better with one.

Sounds like your parents raised you right! And that was cool of Cabelas to offer to make things right like that.

"Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven. Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that you may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly."
Matthew 6:1-4
Good job dude! Props!
If Cabelas has a good policy like that, I might consider them for my needs in the future.

QUOTE (Biotite @ November 5th 2009 9:01 PM) If Cabelas has a good policy like that, I might consider them for my needs in the future. Midway USA re-shipped an order for us when an order didn't show. A couple months later the original order showed up in the mail, and when my wife called and asked them to charge us for it, they were shocked and said, "nobody does that!" We have noticed that those with an interest in firearms are usually more honest and conservative in their values. Thanks for reconfirming that.

Funny how of all the sites I visit, the one that deals with weapons is full of the most straight-up, friendly, eager to help people.
This place is awesome.
