Does anyone have a recommendation for a cheap, handgun sized lockbox or safe? I just want something that will deter the average grab-it and go kinda thief. I don't need anything larger than a G19 sized case either. So small, simple, affordable.

I've got one of these and keep a G-19 in it every once in a while.

I got a Stack-On digital safe. batteries are good for overa year so far, very fast access. Paid about $50.

I think I am gunna give it to my old man though and get a gunvault deluxe. they can plug in so no batteries to go dead thumb.gif

But then I got my Addax Gas piston AR. Sure I still have to keep a few small replacement parts, but I'll let you kick me in the balls for every malfunction I have with my Addax GPU, thats how reliable it is!

So far we are at, hold on, let me check..... ZERO!

I don't know if you're looking for one for the house or vehicle, but I saw at Wallyworld a small gun safe in the sporting goods section for around $30. I'm probably going to get one of the Sentry Safes that's safe for guns there to put in my office. For the night stand, I bought a GunVault. I bought the deluxe mini that has an audible alert and interior light. I bought a cable that attaches to the safe and wrapped it around the bedpost.
