Guys, my apologies in advance for posting a topic I'm sure has been
hashed out numerous times previously. Here's the story. I am the happy
owner of a Fusion Firearms Traditional Hunter and it's a MAGNIFICENT
gun! I have been shooting Double Tap ammo exclusively, love it and would
prefer to stick with it. What do you recommend as a good Home defense
load?

The 165gr. Gold Dots or the 180gr. Gold Dots should serve you very well. Just be sure the function from your pistol, I don't see where they would pose any problems.

May you or any of us ever be put in the position of having to use our firearm for Self Defense. gun2.gif

Best of luck! sunny.gif

If you are in an "urban" or "apartment dwelling" setting, either a 135-grain Nosler Double Tap or 155-grain Gold Dot Double Tap load will accomplish the task without excessive penetration. If the area is more sparsely populated, a 165 or 180-grain Double Tap load will work either as well or better.
