Going to Brazil soon.
I plan on seeing and photographing as much as possible.

I want to camp while I am there.

Here is a short visual on places I am going to see.

Iguassu falls - will not camp here.

Itatiaia National Park - hope to camp

Serra dos Orgaos - hope to camp

Velha State Park - will camp come hell or high water.

Will see other areas around Rio and the coast as well but these are the main areas of focus for me on this trip.

Oh yeah...I gotta visit with my wifes family too....but just a little bit. I gots shit to see and explore. wink.gif

Looks like an outstanding trip.

What made you pick Brazil?

I'm curious since doing one of the boat cruises up the Amazon is one of my hopes.

My pet monkey I married is from Brazil. laugh.gif
The trip is supposed to be about visiting her family but I have other plans.

Besides, we have nice zoo's in America...

She'd kill me if she knew I posted that. animlol.gif

She would SSS on you in Brazil. really.gif

How many days are you guys going to be there?

Best way: 1 or 2 days when you get there: To meet family, tour around town. The remaining time: hit places you want to go. Then the last day: Rest/meet family before heading home.

I'll be there for two weeks. Looks like I gotta cut one of my places to go to. Just not enough time.
So Itatiaia National Park is off my list now.
But it might be possible to swing by there on my way back from Serra dos Orgaos.

I gotta cover Rio and I plan on at least a day and a half there. So I will have to cut something out.

Too bad I gotta spend time with her family.
Should just leave her at her moms place and say see ya at the airport for the flight home. wink.gif
