Is Mike no longer offering 10mm 165gr. Golden Saber's? Just got my order in and they are bonded defense bullets.

Remington's bullets have been scarace for a while now, I really liked the Remington Golden Saber, I hope they deside to produce more of these in 165 & 180.

Winchester Silver Tips also been gone for sometime.

Yes. I've been bummed about the scarcity of Golden Sabers. My preferred defense load (except in winter) has been DoubleTap's 165Gr. Golden Saber loading.

I'm hoping it's back soon!

Agreed. I'm disapointed to see the Golden Sabers gone. Hopefully they will be back, and we will be able to order more.

I took another look at Double Tap's website after I made this post, and see that Double Tap does have the 165gr Golden Sabers. I'll be ordering some this weekend.

Golden Sabers are very tough bullets.
I know it's not ballistic gel, but firing them into damp sand at 4 feet they hold up as well as the XTP.

6-shot group of DT 10mm 180gn Golden Sabers. Shots were taken off-hand from 60-feet. Black square is 2". This stuff is hard-hitting, accurate ammo.

I just received several boxes of Double Tap's 165 gr Golden Saber 10mm ammo.

After using Winchester 175 gr Silvertip ammo for not years, but decades, I've switched my 10mm carry ammo to this Double Tap 165 gr GS load. That's the best testament I can give it.

I would love to see Mike carry the Golden Saber 180s. I might pick up a box or two of the 165s to try out, but I have been pretty happy with the 165 Gold Dots I have from him now. I only carried 230gr. Golden Sabers in my G36 when I was a .45 guy... then I was introduced to Mr. 10mm. Sold both my ACPs to pick up two 10s!
