Does anyone have any experience with a Golani or Galil? I'm interested in a Golani that's available. Any heads up? Inherent problems? Yoour input will be greatly appreciated.

I've heard the same but that was some time ago. Most reviews are all pretty much good if not glowing. It's apparantly been improved. I just want some first hand opinions before I buy it.

Preferably, the AR you bought! thumb.gif

Golani's were welded together by the notorious monkeys at Century, which means, you rolls da' dice - ya' takes ya' chances on QC. It might shoot straight, or it might fly apart on the first trigger squeeze - one never knows! unsure.gif

Moreover, the 35 round mags for it are nominally scarce, and while solid pieces of kit (moreso than AR mags), they are more expensive and harder to scrounge if the SHTF. Were someone to make a Golani that took AR mags, that WOULD be quite the weapon then, but on the whole, you're better off with a decent AR for your .223 delivery needs.

When I was in school, there was no difficulty in establishing a link between the Stanford football team, the Stanford band, and the Stanford faculty. They were all "sons of the Stanford red." All these Moors are card-carrying Moors."
