I read severial threds else where about the subject, and was wondering if any members here knew why they were happening. I was just about to place an order for the LWD 6' SS slide and the 6.o2 barrel. I was doing some reserch first when I came across severial threds about problems the other shooters were having. In my limited experience I can't with aftermarket parts. I just don't get how this could happen. Could it be they just neeed a stronger spring?

Would not hurt to try. Can you lead me towards those "threds" ?
I plan on getting the long slide conversion myself and would prefer
to gather all info before. Thanks. really.gif

By the way, welcome !!

I may be the author of one of those threads, or at least a post or two about my problems. The thing is, I put a Korean made slide together with a US made barrel on a Austrian made frame and it only worked occasionally. Bet you can't find any three other countries that get along that well (LOL). I'm not terribly surprised or upset that my stuff didn't work immediately. Heck, I'd have been surprised if it had. Any time you screw around with after market parts the potential exists for problems. The more different after market parts you mix together the greater the chance something isn't going to work just exactly right.
