Congrats on the settlement!

I have 2 WASR-10's from Century. They are very reliable (as are most all AK's) but it's hit or miss with the canted sights. It can easily be fixed if you're handy with a drill though.
I'm not familiar with the Romy MV version, though, so let some AK gurus chime in on that. I did get a VZ.58 which is a fantastic build. It's based on the AK platform but with some re-engineering and improvements. But I like both platforms equally.
Century has a bad rep because some of their workovers are crappy, so be warned. I think they've cleaned up their act as of late but I'm not certain. If you have a chance to look at the rifles personally then it's in your favor (as opposed to ordering online).
But like I said earlier, mine have been great and they are a blast to shoot. I and others here put them up there with my AR on the fun factor. Just remember that accuracy with them suffers greatly compared to the AR.
ETA: I think the MV version uses single stack mags whereas the Century's magwell has been modified to accept double stack. The Century will also have the Tapco trigger assembly, which is an upgrade and gets rid of the trigger slap.
