Im here from east-atlanta working hard for the state so the crack heads can steal my stuff so they dont have to work.

so last night, Im walking my dog in a park on a leash, I see this guy releaving himself behind a tree trying to hide like i dont see and hear him. about 20 seconds after i see the dude, his large black dog come running full speed out of the woods and proceeds to attack my dog. Im yelling at the guy to get his (edit) dog. he comes walking up to me telling me that everything is OK when its very much not. then he has the nerve to tell me to "go on and get out of here and to go back to where you came from" he's extreemly lucky he didnt end up with a dead dog and a glock 36 stuffed in his face. both of which were very real possibilities. glad no one got hurt. bet he wouldnt have acted that way if I had my colt M4. : )

Like I said on the first page, I spent four years in Athens at UGA (72-76). I still have fond memories of the town and the area. Anyone ever been to Swamp Guinea? Is it still there? I think so, but probably way different from how it was. Logged in quite a few hours at TK Hardy's. I think that was the name of the place. The Station. Allen's. These places are probably long gone. But not forgotten. Ring any bells with anyone?

I do not go to Athens too much, but I want to say The Station seems to ring a bell for some reason of course I could just be retarded at the moment.

I am up here North of Canton below Jasper. We go to River Bend Range. It has everything you could want.

Except a 1000 yard range. They only have 700 yards, and it's a PITA to get to lock in time on it. If you like scatterguns, it is great.

I live on the south side of Atlanta...about 200 miles south.

In SOWEGA, that means Thomasville or Camilla. If the latter, I probably know you, as Camilla is pretty doggone small.

Thanks in advance

Cheers

Swamp Guinea has been gone but I remember my parents taking me there as a kid. TK Hardy's is gone, as is O'malleys and most of the cool bars from that era. Allen's has moved out of normaltown. The new bars downtown change names every couple of years. I do miss TK Hardy's and O'malleys
