From what I have read about the 29 and 29SF, the only difference is the circumference of the grip. There should be no difference in slide lengths, barrels, springs, trigger assemblies, etc. Just frame grip circumference.
I got out my micrometer to see if there was any difference in chamber lengths from my Glock 20 and 29SF. 1 got an overall length 1.332" on both the 20 and 29SF. For the EFK 6" barrel, chamber length was 1.331". To me, that says the 29SF should have the same chamber length as the standard 29, if Glock made the 29 to mimic the 20s overall specs. Now the EFK G29 barrel measures 1.338" - 1.339", I think thats too much material to be solved with a little "light polishing" as per the instructions, it will take at least a file to remove .006". It looks like there wasn't enough material removed from the front side of the chamber to allow it to slide up into the slide and lock into battery. I am also a little disappointed in the quality of the metalwork on the feed ramp of the EFK barrel. There are obvious tool marks and there is a rise in the center portion of the ramp and it appears scalloped when viewed from above! I am returning it to EFK, just waiting for a response now.
I have a few pics:
