I was thinking it would be good to have a thread showing photos of different grips and the brands and styles. If we do this right, we might be able to pin it, like our optics thread. Please post photos of different grips, and tellus what they are. This could be a really useful resource I think. I'm going to look for a photo now.

Pistol Grips

Tango Down Battlegrip
For me, this grip is very comfortable and improves my trigger manipulation over the standard A2 grip. This grip seems almost universally comfortable for shooters who have tried it.

DPMS Panther Tactical Grip
Never used a palmrest type grip much, but they aparently are a big advantage for a lot of shooters.

Mako AG-43
Almost everyone likes this grip - it is very comfortable for most hand sizes.

Mako AG-43S Folding Grip
Designed for a specific use by an Israeli unit (concealed carry of a short M4), it is also sometimes useful for fitting a shotgun in a patrol car mount, or other situations when a weapon needs to be more compact.

MAGPUL MOE in FDE

Tango Down stubby VFG in FDE. You can see in the second pic you can see the TD grip is actually kind of oblong. Which makes it fit your hand alot better IMO.

MAGPUL MIAD with large back strap and A2 front strap.

Tango Down VFG
It is also oblong on the side where it has a removable part for a tape switch.

I had one of those Mako AG-43 grips, and it was comfortable, but I didn not like how you had to use some type of tool or a bullet to get the bottom of it open.

1911 Pistol Grips with Punisher Insert. Picked the pistol gip up off of cheaper than dirt. Pretty comfortable with a rubber back grip. Not brand name but I like it. The punisher inserts were for a regular 1911(ebay one guy made them forever ago), I filed them down and it fit like a charm.

Foregrip with pop out bipods. Cheap and effective. Hasn't broken for me and only cost me 40$. Not as good as metal inserts but the plastic is mad comfortable as a regular foregip

762Precision- I've got to ask, what VFG is the UTG unit copying, because I love that grip, but hear horrible things about its quality.

Heres one thats a little different. It made by ERGO, and its their SURESTOP Handstop. It is really good if you are one of the people that just uses the VFG as a point of reference. They run like $10 on the ERGO website. I havent gotten to shoot it yet, but Ill let you know when I do. I saw KellyTTE had one and he filed down the corners on the front to make the whole thing more rounded. I can definitely see myself doing that. Now just comfort wise I do prefer a stubby VFG, but this is legal on an AR-15 Pistol, where as a regular grip isnt. I sold my VLTOR rails, so I ordered the rails you mount on the M4 handguards for a temporary thing for my light, and I saw the hand stop and threw it in.

Thanks. It's Duracoated. The finish on the lower is actually wearing off. I'll probably have Amelon Cerakote it but it's not a safe queen at all so it's stay the way it is for a while longer.
