Fond du Lac man shoots prize buck

FOND DU LAC, Wisconsin - A Wisconsin hunter is the talk of the town after bagging a 30-point buck!

It is extremely rare to even see a 30-point buck, let alone bag one. But Wayne Schumacher of Fond du Lac says he wasn't thinking about that when he first saw the animal.

He was sitting in a tree stand with his bow and arrow and says he was relaxed the entire time.

Wayne says, "I pulled back and just told myself "be steady" and "make a count", and when I released the trigger, they all went exactly where I wanted to."

The buck was about six years old and weighed 235 pounds.

Schumacher hopes to mount the antlers on the living room wall, as long as he gets the okay from his wife.
