Fake Smoked Ribs....

Just took a peek at the ribs and to baste em with apple juice, they have been on the grill/smoker for about 1 hour when the picture was taken.

3 of em have dillo dust rub and the upper left one has Emerils Original Essence as the wife wanted to try it on the ribs.

Not sure at this point if we will mop em with Sweet Baby Ray's or just leave em with the rub.

They look killer Rampy!
I would sauce them down a little if they were mine. Sweet Baby Ray's is some good sauce.

Just before removing from grill & wrapping in tin foil & apple juice, for 2 more hours of slow cooking, still not sure if we want SBR on em or not, they sure look tasty with just the dry rub......

Was disappointed in em, Mrs Rampy wanted em dry (without SBR sauce mopped on) & so did the offspring.

They were good, but need the sauce mopped on for the extra depth in flavor & moisture.
