Good choice on the XPS. That is what I bought (2-2). Then I saw the Eotech EEXP that's coming out, throw lever for quick detach, buttons on the side in a compact footprint like the XPS.

I had a 557 which I dearly loved, BUT... a) as my astigmatism got worse, I found the dot had a corona around it, and the little drop dots started "dancing" on me, which b) helped me realize, that in a rifle built for CQB, living in the city built for CQB, I was never going to really ring any use out of that BDC anyways! tongue.gif

So I got a Trijicon RX30 with a big honkin' amber dot instead. thumb.gif

When I was in school, there was no difficulty in establishing a link between the Stanford football team, the Stanford band, and the Stanford faculty. They were all "sons of the Stanford red." All these Moors are card-carrying Moors."

Haven't heard of that, but a quick detach would be awesome, especially with buttons on the side.

Heard from Botach today that they were out of stock on the Troy Di-Optic Apetures, and so I'm going to pick up a Magpul MBUS for the rear sight and use that until they get the Di-Optics in stock.

Yep, saw em at shot show, was not bad looking/feeling for a little sight, want to see how they work out and what kind of abuse they take before jumping in and getting one.
