Look to Reed Ammunition and Development in Oklahoma City. They have the Witness 15-round magazines in stock. Usually you can find them on the Gunbroker.
Good luck!

Went to Reeds and ordered 3. I don't know about you folks, but I would guess the hi-cap mags may be on the endangered species list. I do not want to turn this thread into a political statement, but I am guessing the writing is on the wall and we need to do the smart thing and stock up.

Thanks John muscle_mac_gyver@yahoo.com Dan Reed is a well known supplier of 10mm full-power ammo, he's been on the scene for a long time and while I've never persoanlly done business with him I've never heard anything negative with respect to him.

I bought my Witness 10mm from Reeds and later bought extra mags from them, they are good to deal, good communication, quick shipping. Ill get a couple more mags from them, and they offer all the conversion kits. Anybody know of any stronger springs available for the full size 10mm mags ? i have to keep banging on the the bottom of all mine a couple times to get them to feed right. Any ideas

I can't put more than 8 rounds in either one of them without them binding. Total crap. They come with a little pink piece of paper from EAA that says "This product is sold as is with all faults. The entire risk as to quality and performance of the product is will the buyer. " I can't believe this crap. What kind of POS company knowingly sells garbage magazines. The receipt from CDNN says they will not refund for defective merchandise. This sux, I have ordered from CDNN before, but I have never had any issues with anything. BUYER BEWARE!!!!Does anyone around here know what could be the problem with these mags, or how it could be fixed? I am hoping to try to get them working somehow so this is not a total loss.

I second the question on how to fix the mag problem: I just purchased a new-in-the-box Witness yesterday, and the magazine that came with it stops dead in its tracks at 8 rounds. I just ordered 3 more from EAA... and I hope for better results!!!

Any current info on this? Reed's has a 12 round compact magazine listed for $23. No idea if it's in stock. Is this the same magazine CDNN and EAA have been shipping with the "This is a POS. We aren't going to replace it if(when) it breaks on you." labels?

Does anyone around here know what could be the problem with these mags, or how it could be fixed? Yes, I believe these are the OEM EAA magazines, which do have that nice little disclaimer from EAA. RE: How to fix. Have not used the compact, but each of the 4 full size 10mm 15 rd mags I got, each required much breaking in to reliably fit all 15 rds, and not get any feeding/jamming problems. When new, each was almost impossible to load more than 8-9 rds by hand. I used an Uplula universal pistol magazine loader to work in each mag. Even with the Uplula, I couldn't originally load more than 12 rds. I disassembled each mag, cleaned them, and very lightly oiled the inside of the mag walls, follower, and spring by wiping with a patch lightly soaked with Remington gun oil, & reassembled. Then I would load mag with the Uplula, and any time it felt like mag was trying to bind, would use the Uplula to push cartridge up and down within the mag around 10-20 times, then continue loading the mag, repeating this whenever it felt like binding again. Then would strip all rounds out and repeat. I'd do this while on the couch watching TV, and by the end of an hour program, all the mags were getting the 15th rd in, and not binding. I then left all mags loaded and a few days later did entire strip/reload process all over again. Next time I went to range a week or so later, all mags fed okay save maybe one or two feed jams out of 150 rds. Went home, cleaned the mags again, lightly reoiled, did the strip/reload thing again, and left the mags loaded again for another week. Next time shooting, no failures to feed, and no more since then. I must stress, that this is only possible using a good mag loader like the Uplula or a similar loader. No way I could have done using just my fingers, particularly the pushing the cartridge up and down repeatedly in the mag, which is the key to the whole process. Even today, I have to use the mag loader to get in the final 2-3 rds, as its too hard on just my fingers alone. Hope this advice is of some benefit.
