A lot of folks here like Double Tap's ammo and I'm not trying to say anything against it. Just wanted to comment that for not being loaded up to red line pressures and velocities (my chrono test gave it 1167 fps from a G20) the Winchester 175g Silvertip had performed surprisingly well in several penetration & expansion tests I've see. I don't think Winchester's offering, despite the age of the Silvertip design, is a pretty effective choice for a 10mm.
Thanks for doing the test and taking the time and trouble to film it and post it.

Hey, Thanks for watching the video's. Glad you like them. The Silver tip has looked good, it had nice penetration and good expansion (3/4) on the winchester vs. horady video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WdKby3qTL5A. The Double tap 180 had a full inch of expansion on a similar test http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmJi36o1HkE Right now for the money I like the Double tap 180 , but I would have no problem using the silver tip if I had to. I have some more test to do. I hope to get them done soon and get them posted.
