Difference between yellow and white 10XX followers?, The yellow were the "old style" and replaced.

Was there a feed problem with the yellow magazine followers? Do mags with yellows need to be updated?
Thanks in Advance!

In case others stumble across this thread, I have owned over 30 different 10xx series pistols and only 1 had issues with the yellow follower mags. Ironically, putting a white follower in the older mag body did not fix it. I either had to use "Accu-guide" magazines or I had to dremel only slightly the magazine retention hole.

As with so many topics (gun related or not), there were actually very, very few incidents. Given a choice, get the accuguide. Second choice, white follower standard mag, last choice yellow mag older mag body. If you get a good deal on a box of ol' yellers' jump on 'em and shoot them all the way to the bank.

I have had both with no problems. Oddly, the only problem I had was with the mag body of a new 1006 mag.
