What's your need for having it?

I'd suggest spending the $475 on a good reddot scope like EoTech or AimPoint. It will give you the same effect without actually putting the 'dot' on the target. If you're already running a reddot, why run both? In my experience you can acquire your target just as fast if not faster through the reddot. Not to mention your not going to see your laser dot on your target down range in the middle of the day.

I also think that's a lot of money to be spending on a VFG. If you're just starting out, the more you shoot you're going to start figuring out what works best for you and you might develope another grip on your weapon and use your VFG only as a reference point.

But to answer you question, No, I have not used it or heard any positive or negitive reviews.

As this product hasn't been released yet, and nobody here (to my knowledge) works with crimson trace, I don't think anyone will be able to give you an honest opinion.

I will say this, with that price tag, I'm not interested one bit.

Well I already have a nice Leupold scope and a nice mount I don't want to modify to add a red dot. I like the feel of a fore-grip the idea of a laser for quick aiming and the light for tec reasons, sounds good to me.

I hear ya, but if you add the the costs of a nice grip, laser, light, etc...its probably as much or the ctc is cheaper. I'm seeing them online for about $320.

You can go more affordable with a TLR-2/VFG combo, but if you like it then roll with it. thumbsup.gif

I would look at a VFG and then put a TLR2 or M6X on the rail also.

I like the general idea, But I like the 20 dollar laser I got from optics planet way better. the price on the crimson trace is totally absurd!

Crimson Trace pistol grips are nice because the hand guns are used at close range. With a rifle and 30 feet they don't seem as useful.

Now if it was an IR laser and you had night vision going then it would work great.
