I apologize for the delay in the review. My camera died so pics were impossible. I have fired the D-M4 and it functioned fine, but there will be more rounds down range soon. My mag well test is tacked above. Here's a link.

So what caused the Magpul 20rd P-Mag to just fly out of the Mag well?

I've been wondering that myself... Maybe the spring against the closed bolt.

I rechecked with an empty PMag in the gun. I didn't have it shoot out as far as I did during my slow fire but it did shoot out about a foot or so. I must have misjudged the distance a little bit.

I'm about to test a few more different loads for general accuracy and then the "torture test" will begin. When I say general accuracy I mean testing rounds as seeing what shoots the best with the out of box rifle (carbine). I'm using iron sights only, no optics and no magnification. Several rounds shoot very well with the rifle in that set up.

The "torture test" will be a shoot a ton of rounds in a short time exercise. I will be using Charles Daly, C Products Stainless, Magpul PMag and Bravo Company magazines. Any failures will be diagnosed and reported as having happened and why.

All previous posts will be merged and cleaned up for poor writing. Some questions asked have been answered in the latest revision of the review which has not been posted. I apologize for the strung out nature of the process, which is entirely on me.

I haven't thought about doing a dirty test other than possibly not cleaning it while I have it. I might thrown some grit in it. There's plenty where I shoot...

4 got it's a loaner. Ask Mr K if he'd mind? He may enjoy the good free press if it passes.

I have complete control of the test. He sent it to me to test and is allowing me to do so however I please within the law. Otherwise it wouldn't be a test...
