I
had a CX4 in .40 that I never got to put a round through. Won't go in to the reasons I had to sell it, as it's ancient history BUT I badly want another CX4. I got the .40 cuz they didn't have the 9 and didn't know if they could get another 9 in stock.
Price has sure gone up! I paid less than $600 for the one I had - I checked the price on one yesterday - $790!
I'm spending $800, I'm getting an AR instead of a 9mm carbine. I'd like to see a non-AR15, non-mech tech carbine developed that takes Glock mags. The downside I"m sure is that it would be another $800 to $1000 gun. I suppose I could more easily part with $800 for a CX4-like carbine that used Glock mags rather than the CX4 itself since Glock hi-caps are easy to get, and reliable.
For all the clamour for a real Glock carbine in pistol or rifle caliber, I'm surprised they haven't made one yet honestly. All they'd have to do is get ONE semi-largish police department (or their SWAT ninjas) to use them and sales would be non-stop. Crap, I'd buy one if it was under a grand.
BTW, good camo job on your gun. I did something similar once with an HK91 clone - two tone though - krylon OD and krylon camo brown.

did a CZ-75 pistol to match it.
