So finally after getting my CX4 painted I "hid" it in a few locations in at my mom and stepdad's backyard. I found the krylon green I used to be a little darker than the foliage there, but over all i thought it helped it "blend." Here's a few shots. Feedback welcome.

Nifty pea shooter there. That is a nice paint job, looks very good. Would probably blend in better in a swamp.

Nice job! I have the CX4 in .40 and am amazed at how accurate it is. It is by far one of my most enjoyable guns to shoot.

Very neat little rifle. You get back in some woods with shadow and shade and it wil fade away.

I had a CX4 in .40 that I never got to put a round through. Won't go in to the reasons I had to sell it, as it's ancient history BUT I badly want another CX4. I got the .40 cuz they didn't have the 9 and didn't know if they could get another 9 in stock.

Price has sure gone up! I paid less than $600 for the one I had - I checked the price on one yesterday - $790!

I'm spending $800, I'm getting an AR instead of a 9mm carbine. I'd like to see a non-AR15, non-mech tech carbine developed that takes Glock mags. The downside I"m sure is that it would be another $800 to $1000 gun. I suppose I could more easily part with $800 for a CX4-like carbine that used Glock mags rather than the CX4 itself since Glock hi-caps are easy to get, and reliable.

For all the clamour for a real Glock carbine in pistol or rifle caliber, I'm surprised they haven't made one yet honestly. All they'd have to do is get ONE semi-largish police department (or their SWAT ninjas) to use them and sales would be non-stop. Crap, I'd buy one if it was under a grand.

BTW, good camo job on your gun. I did something similar once with an HK91 clone - two tone though - krylon OD and krylon camo brown. smile.gif did a CZ-75 pistol to match it.

I don't care if it's shaped like a penis and you gotta cradle the balls to grip it if it shoots realiably and Glocks do.

Big thing is to break up the outline and make it look less like a rifle. Nice paint job.
