I second the pic request when the OP gets home. A backpack is much more...socially acceptable.
I'm giving the murse thing a try, though. I can't bear to do it in public, but I have a
Larue pack that I got to use for hiking, camping, etc. It has enough room for a nalgene and a small first aid kit inside , and I can attach a good size knife to the outside. The inner surfaces are hook & loop, so I bought an elcheapo holster, cut it down, and sewed a velcro panel on the back. It conceals my 4" mod 29 niceley. The factory universal "holster" that came with it works good for autos, but it just doesn't fit an N-frame wheel gun.
