You might be. Is the width of the trailer from wheel well to wheel well..or are the wheel wells on the outside of the trailer?

You should be good to go, though a very tight fit.

Your most likely going to be rubber to the metal. Make sure you inspect that trailer for any sharp spots like angle irons etc. and do a tape measure from one side to the other before you try. When you try take it slow watching for marks on the tire. Those tires are low pressure so give quite a bit as long as you aren't cutting into them.

Mine fits rubber to metal both sides on my little trailer.

The trailers wheels are on the outside. 48" is the width inside the trailer. I can always cut the railings off. ohmy.gif

You should be alright without having to cut anything. It will be a tight fit and may be squeezing the tires just a tad, but nothing that should damage anything or cause problems, so long as the Kawi website measurements are from the extreme outside edges of the tires (which they should be.

May I recommend a pair of tie-downs even if the trailer has a gate. I use them on my wheelers in the back of my pickups even with the wheelers parking brakes on and the truck tail gates up.

Exhaust pipes quickly burn off their factory paint, then rust starts. A bike or quad that's got painted pipes will start to rust within one or two seasons.

When the paint burns off the exhaust, it rusts. It's an 2008 with 1,000 miles on it. After I am done with deer gun season, I will pull off the exhaust and hit it with steel wool and then high temp paint. It's just surface rust, no big deal.

Yeah but it's new isn't it? And not only the exhaust, but the motor/header (whatever that round pipe is), and the front wheel where the bolts are at..

Don't get me wrong, its a nice quad (also on my list laugh.gif) but I coulda swore it was new?

Edit: ahhh I thought it was new Oak lol. Either way, I can't wait to see some seaon pics of it with a lil mud on the tires thumbsup.gif

Motor is a sliver/copper color and not rusty just the header pipe and exhaust. The front hub has a bit of rust.

Nice ATV.

All that discoloring means is the previous owner wasn't anal about washing it after every use is all. If you want it pretty, clean her up, and throw some new high temp paint on her. It may surprise you how much of that is really stain from the mud especially on the aluminum.

BTW, I don't know if you know this or not, so I'll mention it. When trailering an ATV, its really best just to use one tire in the front and one in the back. Four typically due to the suspension will continually loosen the ties and you will be stopping all the time to tighten them.

Thanks TJ. Yes I need to do a deep cleaning on it. I plan on taking all the body work off of it this winter and giving it a good clean up. It's from West Virginia. Guess they don't have soap and water (or teeth smiley_bucktooth.gif ) there. laugh.gif

Well that explains it. WV has some of the best ATV parks in the US, the Hatfield and McCoy system. If they ever connect them all like they plan, people will be able to ride from Charleston to the VA border. Do a google on it, it will blow your mind. They're a bunch of strip mines all converted to ATV parks which would explain the mud and corrosion. They're very similar to Coal Creek which I ride here, over 200 miles of trails.

I'd say that ATV has seen some trails that are simply beautiful in its day. Some of those in WV they still use the mine railroad tressels over the gorges and the ATVs run them hundreds of feet up. They have like five all within driving distance of each other.

If you are up for a group adventure, Ill let you know the next one planned. We did OK last may just before they shut it down to ATVs. That was a hoot with over a dozen ATVs going over 150 miles in convoy, camping, and running with the wild horses. The guys came from all over but mainly TX, San Antonio and Dallas areas.
