Thanks man. The first week I got it I was doing 4" groups at 600 yards with 147gr SA surplus.

I wish to hell I still had access to that range :(

Hardly ever get to shoot past 100 now.

The only bolt actions I like are Mausers.
I own an M48 Mauser.

Here's a pic of one(not mine but just like it wink.gif ):

Also a sporterized VZ24 BRNO(another excellent Mauser variant) with the official CZ crest chambered in .30-06. The bolt handle and safety are custom too. Reciever's been drilled and tapped. All set up perfectly for the mounting of a scope.

Edited because my fingers are clumsy on the keyboard. :dry:

But then I got my Addax Gas piston AR. Sure I still have to keep a few small replacement parts, but I'll let you kick me in the balls for every malfunction I have with my Addax GPU, thats how reliable it is!

So far we are at, hold on, let me check..... ZERO!

I was thinking of a setup like that, but with a 16" barrel for the wife. It would be primarily an elk or deer rifle for out to about 00 yards

I haven't actually seen it outside of this picture, but LH short action guns are becoming uncommon.

George build's a wicked stick. He did most of the work on mine. Have you seen that bolt release he dose. Very nice. I was in there last Wendsday and ended up buying an A5 for my 700. Very nice stock. Their finish sucks but I can fix that! I'll post a pic when its done.

I try real hard not to ever take money or C/C in there. What really sucks is he's co located with Marty (Badger Ord). Every where I look I think "wow I could use one of those or wow that would be sweet on my stick". I saw his new detachable mag for the 700. It is beyond nice. It even uses AI mags. All I could do not to buy one.
