Bought one today at Bass Pro-Shop. Got it for my XD40 and it fits perfectly! A size 6 if anyone is interested in one for themself.
It's very soft, perfect fit, and an "inside the pants" type.
And at $13.99 it wasn't a bad deal at all!

But at least for my use, it's perfect, and cheap! Until I get my XD40 SC..which will require a smaller holster. Is all their products made in other places? I have a BlackHawk Level II holster on my duty belt that I love..cost $50 bucks tho!

NEVER EVER buy SERPA shat, that's nothing but camel shat, you would be better off with a Mexican carry, or a sharp stick.... I dunno.. I paid $13 for my CCW blackhawk holster. Seems to be of high quality..tho just two peices of fabric, and a clip. My blackhawk holster has held up well for over three years for OC (nearly daily for a year), and on a few rugged camping trips.. still looks/works like new

How much does a hooker cost in Cherry Creek.... What one would be cleaner and less chances of needing pills to cure what ails ya afterwords... What one would you rather purchase for the night....

All I needed was a ccw holster (inside pants) type. It fits my gun, it is durable fabric which protects the trigger from any external play, and it has a durable clip to keep the holster secure in place. So should I waste money on a $60 holster that does the same exact thing as a $13 holster? It's a lot like buying water. Get the plastic bottle of water, or the glass bottle of water. They both hydrate, but sure the taste is a little different. But they both do as needed.

QUOTE (Rampy @ October 5th 2009 10:19 PM) I'll never understand how somebody can spend $450-1K or more on a pistol and then purchase a cheap holster and expect it to work as well as a quality holster. This just baffles the shat out of me. Now if it was a hi-point I would understand..... For a IWB holster the http://www.comp-tac.com/ CTAC holsters are superb & Raven Concealment http://www.ravenconcealment.com/ http://www.themalabarfront.com are the shat when it comes to OWB holsters, but that's just my opinion. As long as it does it's job. I don't see how this holster differs from any other..

As long as it does it's job what's the difference?????? Exactly!! Why spend $1500 for a flashy Kimber 1911 carry pistol, when it's job is to protect you when needed, and is concealed most of its life?

Cuz the Hi Point is a cheap POS made out of pot metal, does not work 100% all the time, not very accurate and prone to breaking... Just like a cheap holster.....

QUOTE (WakaWaka @ October 5th 2009 11:22 PM) As long as it does it's job. I don't see how this holster differs from any other.. A lot of it comes down to the design, as well as the longevity and craftsmanship of the product. When it comes to something that I may have to depend on to save my life (such as the holster not allowing the gun to be drawn because it is generic or it snags or it falls apart and interferes with the weapon when I'm trying to use it, or etc etc.....), I don't go on the cheap. One reason some holsters are more expensive is because of the time spent designing, testing, and producing the item. The manufacturers hand that cost down to the consumers. But, most of the time, you get what you pay for. I hunted around quite a while before I dropped so much as a penny on a CCW holster. I ended up spending about $85 on the holster and another $80 for the belt. (And I got genuine Made in the USA products custom made by the hands of hard working Americans. That in and of itself means something to me. I try to do that when I can). Do yourself a huge favor and don't impulse buy or buy bargain bin stuff when it comes to self defense gear. Seriously. (ANd no one is bagging on you for buying that holster. They're trying to give you good advice based on their experience, so there's no need to be defensive about your purchase). If you start arguing with these people, you may find that their generosity for offering advice suddenly goes away. Also reference this thread.
