Hey everyone, I'm looking for a bipod mount for attaching a harris bipod to the glacier guards on a DPMS lo pro. Harris sells a couple different mounts, one (#2) of which looks rather small and unstable, and the other (#5) which supposedly fits all AR handguards except the glacier guards. According to a review on Midway you can dremel the #5 mount down to fit in the glacier guards, but I'd rather find one that just fits if I can. Also, this will be my 10th post, so from now on I'll just search these kinds of things. smile.gif

The #2 is one I use, but it is on a Aluminum tube. I would be a bit more worried about the Glacier Guard holding up than the stud. If you have a Dremel, I would get the #5 and use it. If not there a couple more options, but they cost a bit more and at that point, it would benefit you just to get a FF Handguard to use.

Not to much of an answer, but I hope it helps.

No that helps, thanks. I'll probably get the #5 then and grind it down. This AR probably isn't getting a new handguard... but then again, there's always Christmas coming up. smile.gif
