Bacon Juicy Lucy, or a burger worth the heart attack

You need (per burger)

two hand-made quarter-pound ground beef patties
three slices of your favorite cheese - but must be real cheese. "Processed cheese food" doesn't cut it here.
Thick cut pickles of your choice
Thick cut onion slices - white or red
Thick cut tomato slices
three thick cut bacon slices. I like the peppered variety.
A toasted bun of your choice. I like potato or onion buns.
Burger seasoning (recipe @ the bottom)

You can dress the bun with sauce, if you're weak like that. This burger doesn't need any though, as it's juicy, as the name implies...

Okay, take one slice of cheese, and cut or break in half. Set aside a moment.

Take on 1/4 lb beef patty, place broken cheese in the center of the patty (raw at this point). Take 2nd 1/4lb beef patty, place on top. Pinch the two patties together, enveloping the cheese in the center of the beef. You should now have a slightly UFO shaped beef patty.

Place said beef patty on the grill and cook to your preferred done-ness, but try not to over-cook it. Sprinkle the top side of the burger with burger seasoning. Then after flipping, sprinkle on more burger seasoning.

While burger is cooking, grille up your bacon, or fry in a pan, which ever. Cook to your preferred doneness. I like mine a bit chewy.

While the meat is cooking, toast your buns for 30 seconds per half.

On the bottom half of the bun, place one slice of cheese. Place the second slice on the cooking burger about 1 minute before removing from the grill. Place three strips of bacon on the cheesed bun. Place the cooked burger atop the bacon. Now pile on onion, tomato, and pickle slices on the top side of the burger. Place crown on top.

Serve the burger with a handfull of home-made steak fries or jo-jos and your choice of beverage. Might want to make an appointment with the ER before eating the burger, so they can have a room with the defib machine ready when you're done.

The cheese in the center of the burger is going to be molten, so be forewarned. It will blorp out at you/on you when you bite into this burger. If that ain't enough, the melting cheese on the outside of the beef will also add to the hardening of your arteries and make your last moments of lucidity feel like heaven. The bacon only helps this euphoric feeling along. If you're really glutton, add a slice of ham and an over-easy fried egg on top of the burger before adding the veggies...

For burger seasoning mix equal parts:

Salt
Garlic powder
Black pepper
MSG (unless allergic)
Chili powder
Paprika
Onion powder

I mix this in a salad or soup bowl, then store in a large empty garlic powder container with a sealing lid. Sprinkle this on EVERYTHING grilled or fried. It's the shizzle.
