Got my BLack Rain lower tonight...

I was lucky enough to get one of these with a pretty low serial # on Gun Broker for around $200. Got it in today and installed the Stag LPK and MIAD I got from Addax earlier this week. This this is awesome. Looks sweet.

The edges are all smooth, the finish it awesome. and the design on it is very cool. Its not stamped in like most lowers, its machined in the lower so its 3D.

Only problem is the pivot pin being extremely tight. I actually have to use a punch to get it out. I worked it in and out for a while, and its is a little better now. I guess I just need to shoot it alot now. bigsmile.gif

Its just super super tight. With the lower off the upper I can move it with my fingers, but to get it off the upper I have to use something to push it through. I figure it will either get looser with time, or its just the hole in the VLTOR upper. I plan on getting a BRO upper down the road anyway, cause they dont add F/A to the uppers anymore. Which kinda pissed me off, because they told me they would, then once I got it they had stopped doing the swap. Pretty much defeats the purpose of it being modular if you cant get the parts and they wont do the swap IMO.

I have to get an upper/lower set from them. Mark at Summit Gun Broker has the uppers and told me about the quality of them.

I was planning on having a biohazard symbol engraved on the right side of my lower with "ZOMBIE HUNTER" under that, all rollmark painted in FDE.
