They've been in the biz a while. Should be no problems.

I bought from him before, but won't again. His sponsorship was canceled at another site because he cheated a buyer on a gun, and cheated them badly. I don't remember the specifics, but his general response was to ignore not only the customer when he asked for a refund on a misrepresented SKS, but also ignored the owner of that site.

I try not to drag problems from other sites here, but when they are willing to piss off one of the largest gun sites on the 'net to make a couple hundred bucks... kinda telling about what kind of people you're dealing with.

Interesting. I've never seen guns on ammoman's website before. Its all ammo and magazines from what I see. Was this on gunbroker or from his website?

I am not getting into any details everyone makes mistakes, but I would say purchase from Ammo To Go.

This. Ammo To Go has the best deals, and if I'm going to buy ammo online, it's going to be there.

I buy ammo from

OMB express - best prices on premium handgun ammo
Palmetto State Armory
Wideners
AIM Surplus

Non of these did any price gouging when things went crazy after the election.

+1
the thing that blows about ammo man is yes there is no sepperate shipping charge but the shipping rates are calculated for the farthest distance from the warehouse and just added to the price so you pay the same shippin if you're 3 blocks away or as far as florida. there are better deals out there with stock more accessible. i've had great luck with H&H sport shop, they were the only place i was able to buy a case of 380 for less than it woulda cost in walmart. from the intel i recieved from employees, the owner is good friends with top brass at the blazer factory so they can get stock regularly.

In addition to great ammo prices, AIM Surplus has 30 rd. C-Prod mags @ $7.95 a piece right now!!! I bought ten more last week! bigsmile.gif

just thought I'd post an update after my 1st purchase from Ammoman...

prices were very good; best I could find on the web...(a bit cheaper than ammo to go, at least for what I was after) selection is limited compared to other sites, but they had what I was looking for at the right price, so...

ordering was easy...shipped promptly, and I received it on time. the biggest plus about the whole purchase was Ammoman's free shipping!! thumb.gif

ammo is as advertised; overall very pleased with the transaction, and would definitely do business with Ammoman again.

only one complaint, and it is minor: ammo was shipped in the factory box... not too thrilled that my $400 order (with "FEDERAL TACTICAL AMMO" plastered all over the box) was just dropped on my porch & left...

for both privacy & potential theft reasons, wish they'd just ship it in a plain box...

but, as stated, only a minor complaint, and definitely not a deal-breaker for me...I'll do business with them again.

hope this helps anybody that's wondering about Ammoman like I was.
