Hey all.

I have been reading some threads on how the new AR57 uppers were killing the brass to the point it couldnt be reloaded. Panzer had some experiences with this.

Anyway, just wanted to say that mine is not one of the uppers that is killing it. Here is a pict of the brass from todays outing. This is a random 6 pieces, but I looked at all 50 and they were all alike.

Panzer, I mean no disrespect, but I wonder if they have worked the kinks out of them since you did you testing?

Anyway enjoy!

From my account of the situation, it sounds like he tested an upper with a barrel which had a breach out of tolerance. But I wasn't there and can't say for sure.

Also sounds like he and his company had a bad experience with the manufacturer....

We had one of the very first, from the first production run. Since then every exchange we have had with them including the last NRA show they never brought up changing the chamber demensions no matter how many times we asked about it. Keep in mind we reload 1x brass for people, for public sale and sell custom reloading equipment for the 5.7.x28. Having to send back brass to customers and having to respond to phone calls and emails from customers concerning not being able to reload AR57 1x fired brass was not something we wanted.

Again bad brass is bad for our business ALSO.

More guns that shoot the 5.7x28 is GOOD for our business.

For all the j@ck@ss's out there use the brain god gave you. The more stuff shooting the 5.7x28 the better it is for the maker of the Ammunition, like EA!

The first time we brought this up to a rep we were blown off and then told by a company rep that it's no concern of their's that the brass could not be reloaded. We thought this to be pretty damn stupid. This happened at the first NRA show after initial sales of the AR57 upper. We then thought this could not really be their official stance and contacted them directly again. We got the same response.

Since then we have always gotten the same response. If they fixed their chamber issue you think they MIGHT have brought that up to us. But then that would not follow their pattern to date.

I agree.

Sometimes one or two bad CS reviews will screw a company bad.
